ACHIEVEMENTS AT GHTP DURING 2010-11
- Achievements of Daily Generation
- Highest ever generation of station in a day 230.84 L.U on 25.03.11
- Highest ever PLF of station in a day 104.55 % on 25.03.11
- Highest ever generation of Stage-I in a day 106.60 L.U on 25.03.11
- Highest ever PLF of Stage-I in a day 105.75 % on 25.03.11
- Highest ever generation of Stage-II in a day 125.80 L.U on 28.01.11

- Achievements at National Level
- GHTP, Lehra Mohabbat has been awarded First National Energy Conservation Award 2010 (First prize at National level)) by Hon’ble Power Minister of India on 14th December 2010.
- Achievement in Maintenance of Units
- The capital overhauling of Unit 1 has been completed in 33.91days against approved shut down of 43 days thereby bringing the unit 9.09 days ahead of schedule which has resulted into an extra generation of 458 LU.
- The capital overhauling of Unit-3 and repair/replacement of damaged blades of LP turbine has been completed in 38 days at site against anticipated 45 days envisaged by BHEL by arranging men and material in minimum possible time through meticulous planning which has resulted into an extra generation of 420 LU.
- Repair of turbine unit No. 4 which was damaged due to bursting of turbine balancing leak off steam pipe was done at site in a period of 50.1 days, during which all the three cylinders H.P., I.P. & L.P. were opened and rectification done by replacing sealing strips of HP balancing drums, glands of HP & IP turbine and repair of thrust pad of HP turbine by meticulous planning and arranging man & material in shortest possible time.
- Achievement in Performance
- Stage-I units have achieved their longest ever continuous run of 96.2 days from 03.01.2010 to 09.04.2010 without any tripping surpassing the previous record of 93.49 days from 28.08.2008 to 29.11.2008.
- Stage-II units have entered in 96th day of its longest ever continuous run from 26.12.2010 to till date (01.04.2011) without any tripping surpassing the previous record of 74.87 days from 04.02.2010 to 20.04.2010.
- Unit 3 has entered in 108th day of its continuous run after capital over haul from 14.12.2010 to till date (01.04.2011)) without any interruption.
- Lowest ever heat rate of 2417 Kcal/KWH has been achieved.
- Lowest ever Auxiliary consumption of 8.08% has been achieved.
- Lowest ever monthly DM water make up of all the four units 0.64% has been achieved during Nov- 2010.
