OFFERS ONCE AGAIN
A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY
TO SMALL SCALE INDUSTRY MANUFACTURING FLY ASH BASED PRODUCTS

PSEB has formulated a comprehensive policy through which it will ensure up to 20% of Dry Fly Ash generated from its three Thermal Plants at Ropar, Bathinda and Lehra Mohabbat to be kept exclusively for the purpose of allotting the same to

   SMALL SCALE INDUSTRY MANUFACTURING
               FLY ASH BASED PRODUCTS LIKE BRICKS, CEMENT, PREMIXED CONCRETE, CONCRETE PIPES & SHEETS CONCRETE BLOCKS & TILES ETC.

Who use upto 50MT of Dry Fly Ash per day subject to a maximum of 18000MT in a year.
PSEB will sign MOU with such entrepreneurs who want to get regular supply of the DFA on certain Terms and Conditions. The supply will be free of cost till Sep 2009 to all small scale manufacturers except those of cement and premixed concrete who are to pay nominal handling charges.  

Interested entrepreneurs are requested to submit their applications along with the complete biodata of the firm including details of vehicles to be used for transporting DFA with Dy. CE/ Fly Ash under CE / Thermal Designs, Shakti Vihar, PSEB Patiala on or before 05.12.07.Those manufacturers who have already applied against advertisement dated 14.11.06 need not apply again. Singing of MOU is a prerequisite for getting DFA. All those manufacturers who do not submit the applications for signing of MOUs till 05.12.07 will not be allowed lifting of DFA after this date.

PSEB also invites such entrepreneurs who want to start brick manufacturing by using POND ASH available free of cost in abundance from all the Three Thermal Plants to start their ventures in the state preferably near the Thermal Plants. Such firms will be given proper access to the Ash Ponds of the thermal plants and can also be allowed use of available PSEB’s facilities of loading of their vehicles. This facility is presently limited to manual loading but may be converted to mechanical loading depending upon the quantum of demand of Pond Ash.
