Transmission lines Organisation came into existence in July, 1998 after bifurcation
of Transmission System Organisation for execution of 66/132/220KV Transmission
lines. The chart of organization is attached herewith.
Main works execution wings of this organization are as under:-
- Dy.C.E./TLSC Circle, Patiala for execution of Transmission lines.
- SE/TLSC Circle, Jalandhar for execution of Transmission lines.
- Director/Trans.Design, B-2, Shakti Vihar, Patiala for approval of Route
Plans of new Transmission lines & procurement of all material required
for Transmissiosn Lines.
Functions of Trans.Lines Organisation.
Transmission lines organization has been assigned the work of construction of
66/132/220KV Transmission lines and 33KV lines to 66KV lines.
Works are carried out as per approved list of Works by CE/Planning. In addition
to the above, 66/132/220KV lines are also being constructed for Private Consumers
& also to restore supply which disturbed during natural calamities/heavy
storms.
Achievements:
- 220KV Patran Sunam line SC on DC.
- 220KV GNDTP-Mukatsar line SC on DC.
- LILO oof both ckts. of 220KV Patiala-Rajpura line at 400KV Phagan Majra
(PGCIL).
- LILO of one ckt. of 220KV Sarna-Wadala Granthian line at Tibbi.
- 220KV Sarna-Kotli Surat Malli line.
- Stringing of 2nd ckt. of 220KV Patti-Verpal line.
- Stringing of 2nd ckt. of 132KV line from 220KV Verpal to Hakima Gate.
- 66KV Loharka-Harsha Chhina.
- 66KV line from 220KV Verpal to Gholwar.
- 66KV Chawa-Bahu M ajra line.
- 66KV line from 220KV Kartarpur to Sports & Surgical Complex, Jalandhar.
- 66KV T-off line from Nakodar to Mehatpur for Mehsunpur.
- 66KV line from 220KV Jaito to Baja Khanna.
- 66KV Ladhuka-Fazilka line.
- 66KV T-off from Lehra Mohabbat-Phool for Bhai Roopa.
- 33/66KV Sukhna Ablu-Bhaliana line.
